Plasma Sources, Science and Technology (PSST) is one of the leading Journals in the area of Plasma Physics. So, I was very pleased when my colleague and the lead author David Gahan, emailed me today to tell we were number 4 on the most read articles in PSST – nice one! David. The paper – Ion energy distribution measurements in rf and pulsed dc plasma discharges, D Gahan et al 2012 Plasma Sources Sci. Technol. 21 024004 was published last month and describes retarding field energy analyser measurements in a pulsed plasma. Pulsed plasmas are very hot at the moment because of the ability to control ion and electron energies and also because of the creation of negative ions.
