The book is a classical review of plasma physics. This book is a very comprehensive study of the physics of ionized gases.  The book covers the fundamentals of plasma physics and is suited to those interested in Fusion and high temperature plasma rather than the low temperature plasma commonly used in industrial plasmas. I would use this book as a reference but not a core book for me.
